Hall Facilities

Quenington Village Hall offers two meeting areas for use by hirers: the main hall and a smaller, separate room. They can be hired jointly or separately.  The smaller room is used for storing all our folding chairs, but has a table and chairs, and is suitable for small meetings or activities.

The Main Hall is light and airy, with picture windows overlooking the Village Green along the long side. It is reached via the entrance foyer, with level access for wheelchair users. There is a door and serving hatch giving direct access to the kitchen, with a separate door leading to the cloakrooms. There are 56 folding chairs for use in the hall (with 30 more due to be purchased in 2022).

The Meeting Room is reached via the entrance foyer with separate access to the kitchen and cloakrooms, allowing hirers to use the room without disturbing users in the Main Hall.

It can be used in conjunction with the Main Hall to provide a quiet space or as a dressing room for performers, or it can be used separately as a meeting room for small groups.

The kitchen is directly accessible from the Main Hall, via a connecting door and serving hatch, and to the Meeting Room, via a separate corridor.

It has a large worktop space, with additional surfaces provided by a free-standing unit.  All the essential equipment (kettles, double oven, heated cabinet/food warmer, microwave, fridge, dishwashwer, crockery/cutlery) is available for use by hirers.

Note that hirers are required to remove all their refuse and food waste from the hall at the end of the period of hire.
